This hiking trail has two trailheads which means you have the option of backpacking it one way if you have someone to pick you up at the other end. With its 5.8 miles of walking distance it's a mid length walk. This is not a very long hiking and backpacking trail but it's always good to bring some emergency supplies, you never know what could happen. There's not much difference in elevation along Jackson Creek Trail, so you get pretty much the same conditions along the whole wilderness trail. Sometimes this hiking and backpacking trail gets really dry, so don’t forget to check for any current fire restrictions before you go. The time needed for this walk is roughly 5 hours, but of course some folks walk a bit slower and some a bit faster.
