of uphill miles which makes this wilderness trail wonderful for the average walker looking for an amusing adventure. There's not much difference in elevation along Jackson Creek Trail, so you won’t have to worry about different climate zones along your backcountry walk. The striking backcountry trails of the Southern Cascade Range are the best way to enjoy these mountains. All through the warmest time of the year, highs regularly are in the 80's at Jackson Creek Trail, and during summer nights temperatures are in the 40's. For the period of the winter highs  
are in the 40's, and after the sun is down during the winter temperatures at Jackson Creek Trail drop into the 30's. Every single Oregon great outdoors trail is well worth a walk. This is just one of a large number of wilderness trails in this area. When you're here in Oregon trekking along one of its great outdoors trails is so much fun. The time needed for this trek is roughly 5 hours, but of course some people walk a bit slower and some a bit faster. This neighborhood does get very dry sometimes, so do check for current fire restrictions before you go if you plan to bring a stove or make a camp fire. Don’t forget to check for any current restrictions or closures before you go. Jackson Creek Trail has two trailheads, so backcountry hiking it one way is an option if you can arrange for a ride back. There are many glorious great outdoors trails in Oregon, and Jackson Creek Trail in Douglas County is one of them.

Jackson Creek is a good whitewater spot in close proximity to Jackson Creek Trail, and Crater Lake National Park is a very perfect location to have a look at. All the outdoors fun things in the Southern Cascade Range will keep you coming back over and over. A great place for whitewater paddling in the neighborhood of Jackson Creek Trail is Rogue River - North Fork.
Not enough hours in a day to enjoy the Southern Cascade Range. Gale Creek is close to Jackson Creek Trail and is always a delight to check out, and a perfect place to camp here at Jackson Creek Trail is Buckeye Lake Campground. A pleasant visit to Pup Prairie is a brilliant way to spend an afternoon, and a visit to Grasshopper Spring will fill your spirit with brilliant feelings. Take a little tour to Highrock Creek while you're here at Jackson Creek Trail, and camping is available at Cliff Lake Campground.
It's always delightful to explore Sadie Spring, and Grasshopper Meadow is a good site to stretch your legs a bit.
