Oregon hiking trails - Island Meadow Trail, Central Cascade Range, Lane County

Island Meadow Trail is situated a rather long tour from Bend, but it is one of many glorious wilderness trails in this area. Island Meadow Trail has only one trailhead, so you're looking at an in and out backcountry trek. Island Meadow Trail has a total elevation difference of 704 feet, and that is lower than average. There's not much difference in elevation along the great outdoors trail, so you get pretty
    much the same conditions along the whole great outdoors trail. Going for a backcountry trek here in Oregon is always an enjoyable thing to do. This trek shouldn't take more than 7.5 hours, but of course some folks walk a bit slower and some a bit faster. Backcountry trekking here
in the Central Cascade Range is a really pleasant way to spend quality time in nature. Spending too much time indoors got you down? No problem, Island Meadow Trail in Lane County, Oregon is a nice choice. High temperatures at Island Meadow Trail during the months of summer are in the 80's. December you get the most rain around here while July is the month with the least amount of precipitation. Being 9 miles long it's an average length great outdoors trail. Don’t forget to check for any current restrictions or closures before you go. The length of this wilderness trail is about average with an average amount of climbing distance which makes this a very tough trail for advanced walkers looking for a brilliant challenge. This is a neighborhood covered with lots of trails. Island Meadow Trail is quite long, so make sure you bring plenty of supplies. At parts of the year this area sees very little rain, so make sure you check current conditions and fire restrictions with local forest authorities before you head out. Each backpacking trail in Oregon is worth backcountry backpacking.

Whohoo, so many amusing things in one place! The Central Cascade Range rocks!. Island Meadow is a pleasant spot, and getting to Quinn Creek from Island Meadow Trail is uncomplicated.
Now, you may feel that's loads but there's even more amusing stuff to do here in the Central Cascade Range. Whitewater paddling is great on Horse Creek. You'll need more than a day to look at everything Island Meadow Trail has to offer, you can camp at East Lake Resort and RV Parks. Take a little trip to Sink Creek since you're here at Island Meadow Trail; Elk Lake Springs is an inspiring spot to stop by during your stay. You simply must love Island Meadow Trail. There's so much to do here at Island Meadow Trail that you need to camp here for a while, Upper Campground is a great place for that, and a short trip to Wright Spring is always worthwhile.
Get drenched paddling on Deschutes River, and a visit to Reserve Meadow revitalizes the spirit.
