night lows through the wintertime for Island Lake Trail tend to be in the 20's. Now this trail is pretty long, so make sure you bring plenty of supplies. Island Lake Trail is quite isolated from the least distant city, and it is a nice shelter from the city. Sometimes this trail
gets really dry, so do check for current fire restrictions before you go if you plan to bring a stove or make a camp fire. The wilderness trails of the Central Cascade Range are an excellent way to explore these mountains.

to Bechel Creek is definitely a good idea. You just can't imagine the amount of outdoors fun things the Central Cascade Range has to offer. You should certainly dedicate some time to Riggs Meadow while you're here at Island Lake Trail, and a short spree to Salt Creek Falls
is always worthwhile. You just ought to go for Island Lake Trail. A great place like Pothole Meadow here at Island Lake Trail is too great to miss, and a spree to Klovdahl Bay is always a pleasant idea. Lillian Falls is a pretty place to stop at while you're at Island Lake
Trail; Island Lake Trail is a great place to visit for more than one day, Shelter Cove Resort is a great place to camp nearby. If you come at the right time of year, Hills Creek offers some fine whitewater. You'll need more than a day to look at everything Island Lake Trail has to offer, you can camp at Twin Springs Campground.
