    but you never know stuff could go wrong and you could get stuck so be prepared for that. Even though this is not a very long backpacking trail it's always tremendous to bring some emergency supplies, you never know what could happen. This backpacking trail sometimes gets very dry,
so don’t forget to check for any current fire restrictions before you go. Intake Trail has two trailheads, so if you can get a ride from someone, you can walk it just one way. falls at Intake Trail; of all the months in a year November is the one with the most rain while July is mostly the driest month. Summertime highs at Intake Trail generally tend to be in the 80's; through summer nights temperatures are in the 40's. For the period of the winter the highs are mostly in the 30's with temperatures at Intake Trail dipping down into the 20's through winter nights. Intake Trail is 3 miles long it's a short backcountry trail. No chance of getting bored in Oregon if you like nature. Intake Trail goes through some very different elevations which of course means you need to be prepared for different conditions on different parts of the backcountry trail. This backcountry trail has a total elevation difference of 1,716 feet which is about average.

Put some time aside to spend at Sheep Spring if you're here at Intake Trail, and why not camp at Timothy Spring Campground since you're here at Intake Trail. A quick visit to Low Creek in close proximity to Intake Trail is a brilliant idea.
Camping is available at Bone Spring Campground, and naturally Broken Creek flows through this vicinity.
