This backcountry walk shouldn't take more than 6 hours, but of course some people walk a bit slower and some a bit faster. so much to do here at Indian Rock Trail that you need to camp here for a while, Deerhorn Campground is a perfect spot for that. Life's too short to enjoy all the enjoyable things in the Blue Mountains. Indian Rock Trail is good enough to spend more than a day at, Trough Creek Campground
is a good local campground, and whitewater paddling is not for everybody but if it's for you then, we recommend John Day River - North Fork.
