Oregon hiking trails - Horse Lake Trail, Central Cascade Range, Lane County

No chance of getting bored in Oregon if you like nature. There's not much difference in elevation along Horse Lake Trail, so you get pretty much the same conditions along the whole wilderness trail. Gotta get out of the city man, and Horse Lake Trail in Lane County, Oregon is just the site. These hiking and backpacking trails here in the Central Cascade Range are a really fine
    way to spend quality time in nature. Horse Lake Trail is 7.6 miles long it's a mid length hike. For the period of the warm days of summer at Horse Lake Trail highs are ordinarily in the 80's. Summer overnight lows dip down to the 40's. Daytime highs during the winter are in the
30's, and overnight lows in the 20's for Horse Lake Trail. You should count on this walk taking about 6.5 hours, but of course some folks walk a bit slower and some a bit faster. Keep in mind that this is a long wilderness hiking trail, so don't forget to pack enough supplies. Sometimes this wilderness hiking trail gets really dry, so don’t forget to check for any current fire restrictions before you go. The high level of precipitation makes Horse Lake Trail a pretty wet place; the month with most of the rain is December, and the driest month of the year is July. This wilderness hiking trail has a total elevation difference of 427 feet which is a lower than average number.

If you come to this river you will have a good time for sure. Don’t forget to visit Reserve Meadow if you're here at Horse Lake Trail, and Elk Lake Springs is always fun to check out. Not enough hours in a day to enjoy the Central Cascade Range. A short spree to Blacktail Spring is always worthwhile, and camping at East Lake Resort and RV Parks is always a perfect experience.
A pleasant place to camp here at Horse Lake Trail is Upper Campground; a great place like Island Meadow here at Horse Lake Trail is too brilliant to miss.
