Oregon hiking trails - Horse Creek Trail, Coast Ranges, Lincoln County

   
  There are backcountry hiking trails all over Oregon; one of these is Horse Creek Trail in Lincoln County. It's a lengthy drive from Corvallis to Horse Creek Trail, but it is a really pleasant great outdoors trail. Oregon has so much to offer the wilderness lovers. For the duration of the warmest time of the year at Horse Creek Trail highs are commonly in the 60's. For the duration of the moonlight hours it's mostly in the 40's. For the duration of the winter this site gets highs in the 50's, and after the sun is down through the winter temperatures at Horse
    Creek Trail sink into the 30's. Horse Creek Trail sees pretty high levels of precipitation; the month with most of the rain is December, and July is when it's the driest. Gotta get out of the urban center man, and Horse Creek Trail in Lincoln County, Oregon is just what you need.
Now, this is roughly a 4-day backcountry hike, so make sure you've got all your overnight gear packed. This is one of a very small number of backpacking trails in this region. Horse Creek Trail has a total elevation difference of 1,926 feet which is an average number. Different parts of this wilderness hiking trail are at very different elevations, so keep in mind that you may need to dress differently at different elevations. This is a two-ended wilderness hiking trail with two trailheads, so if you can get a ride from someone, you can hike it just one  
way. There are plenty of backcountry hiking trails in Oregon; each one of them is delightful in its own way. These backpacking and hiking trails here in the Coast Ranges are the best way to enjoy these mountains. Don’t forget to check for any current restrictions or closures before you go. Horse Creek Trail is a backpacking and hiking trail of good length with an average amount of climbing distance which makes this backpacking trail splendid for hard core backpackers looking for adventure. When you're here in Oregon backcountry hiking along one of its backcountry hiking trails is the great thing to do. Being 25 miles long; it's considered a longer hike. This is a hiking trail that is quite long, so make sure you bring plenty of supplies.

Briefly about the general area:
Not enough hours in a day to enjoy this place. Hellion Canyon is a nice location to pop by close by; do visit Boulder Creek if you're here at Horse Creek Trail.
Kozy Kove Marina is a splendid local campground; don't leave Horse Creek Trail without first paying a visit to Cold Spring. A journey to Klickitat Spring will fill your spirit with great feelings; taking a little journey to nearby Grassy Point is a good idea. Be careful coming to the Coast Ranges, you might not ever wanna return home again. Barclay Meadows is a delightful location to stretch your legs a bit, and swing by Gold Creek it's a brilliant site to stop at.
Yeah, come up here to the Coast Ranges for a good time. Happy Landing RV Park and Marina is a great campground nearby, and there's whitewater on Alsea River for all you adrenaline junkies. There's a magnificent forest right next door to Horse Creek Trail called Siuslaw National Forest, and whitewater paddling is not for everybody but if it's for you then, we recommend Drift Creek.
