Briefly
about the general area: There are some nice whitewater spots on McKenzie River - South Fork, and some nearby water includes Grasshopper Creek. Whitewater paddling is not for everybody but if it's for you then we recommend Christy Creek, and camping at Echo Campground is always
a wonderful experience. Not enough hours in a day to enjoy the Central Cascade Range. If you came to camp Twin Springs Campground is a splendid place to do that, and Loon Creek is one of the streams close by that might be worth taking a look at.
