| | someone, you can backcountry walk it just one way. Pretty far from Portland-Vancouver-Beaverton you come across High Camp Trail, but it is a tremendous retreat from the urban center. You should count on this backcountry hike taking about 1 hours, but you never know stuff could go wrong and you could get stuck so be prepared for that. With its 1.2 miles of walking distance it's shorter than many wilderness trails. Don’t forget to check for any current restrictions or closures before you go. are the best way to enjoy these peaks. Summertime brings highs in the 70's to High Camp Trail, and all through summer nights temperatures are in the 50's. Through the winter this spot gets highs in the 40's, and nighttime lows in the 30's for High Camp Trail. The wilderness trail
stays roughly within the same elevation zone the whole time, so you won’t have to worry about different climate zones along your backcountry walk. High Camp Trail commonly gets a great deal of rain; of all the months in a year December is the one with the most rain while July is
regularly the driest month. This wilderness hiking trail is a very short wilderness hiking trail having an average number of uphill miles which makes it a wonderful backcountry hiking trail for the average person looking for a wonderful adventure. Trekking in Oregon is such a tremendous
thing to do.
Briefly about the general area: So many enjoyable things in the Central Cascade Range, just impressive. If you came to camp Skookum Lake Campground is a tremendous location to do that, and High Camp Trail is perfect enough to spend more than a day at, Silver Fox RV Park is a perfect local campground.
