Oregon hiking trails - Hidden Lake Trail, Central Cascade Range, Clackamas County

If you happen to be in Oregon, why not go backpacking, it never gets boring. Gotta get out of the urban center man, and Hidden Lake Trail in Clackamas County, Oregon is a fine spot to go. The high level of rainfall makes Hidden Lake Trail a reasonably wet spot; December is when you get the most rain here, and the driest month is July. This is a one trailhead hiking trail, so you'll be backcountry hiking it in and back out. This
    is just one of a large number of great outdoors hiking trails in this region. During the warm days of summer, highs commonly are in the 70's at Hidden Lake Trail. Once the sun is down it descends down to the 50's. Through the winter highs are in the 40's, and through the dark hours
in the wintertime at Hidden Lake Trail temperatures descend to the 30's. A visit to Oregon is not complete without some backcountry backpacking. There are many tremendous hiking trails in Oregon, and Hidden Lake Trail in Clackamas County is one of them. This backcountry trail is a normal length backcountry trail with an average amount of climbing distance which makes this great outdoors hiking trail delightful for hard core backpackers looking for adventure. Hiking and backpacking trails like this one here in the Central Cascade Range are a very great  
way to see these peaks. Sometimes this backpacking trail gets really dry, so make sure you check current conditions and fire restrictions with local forest authorities before you head out. The time needed for this backcountry walk is roughly 7 hours, but you never know stuff could go wrong and you could get stuck so be prepared for that. Every single Oregon hiking trail is worth backpacking. And keep in mind that there could be temporary safety restrictions in spot. Different parts of Hidden Lake Trail are at very different elevations, so keep in mind that you may need to dress differently at different elevations. Hidden Lake Trail is 8.2 miles long it's a mid length trek. This is a backpacking trail that is quite long, so do pack enough food to last the whole trip. The total elevation difference for Hidden Lake Trail is 3,014 feet, and that is higher than average.

Briefly about the general area:
Pucci Glade is a pretty place any time of year, and do go to Rushing Water Creek if you're here at Hidden Lake Trail. Yocum Falls is a gorgeous site to visit while you're at Hidden Lake Trail, and camping at Nanitch Campground is always a brilliant experience.
All year is a good time in the Central Cascade Range if you adore the outdoors. If you came to camp High Cascade Snowboard Camp is a great site to do that, and a wonderful place is Sand Canyon. Be careful coming to Hidden Lake Trail, you might not ever wanna go home again. A short visit to Ramona Falls is always worthwhile; Summit Meadows is a good place to stretch your legs a bit.
Soar down the rapids of Hood River - Lake Branch in a kayak; swing by Swim Creek it's a great location to pop by. So much fun stuff to do here in the Central Cascade Range, too glorious to be true. Get soaked paddling on Sandy River, and the friendly people of Hood River like to hang out nearby.
