  Hitting the hiking trails is always an enjoyable thing to do, and Hemlock Lake Trail in Klamath County, Oregon is a perfect site for getting out. Hiking in Oregon is something that is always fun to do. Hemlock Lake Trail is to be found a pretty long journey from Klamath Falls, but it is a perfect escape from the settlement. There are so many hiking trails in this area. Being 10.4 miles long; it's considered a longer backcountry hike. This backpacking and hiking trail is a very long backpacking and hiking trail having an average number of uphill miles
    which makes this a very tough hiking trail for advanced trekkers looking for a nice challenge. This is a one trailhead hiking trail, so you're looking at an in and out hike. This hike shouldn't take more than 9 hours, but of course some folks walk a bit slower and some a bit faster.
Different parts of this backcountry trail are at very different elevations, so keep in mind that you may need to dress differently at different elevations. Each one of the many great outdoors hiking trails of Oregon has its own character. This hiking trail sometimes gets very dry, so do check for current fire restrictions before you go if you plan to bring a stove or make a camp fire. Outdoors folks generally like this part of Oregon. At Hemlock Lake Trail during the warmest time of the year highs are in the 80's with night lows in the 40's. Highs all through  
the winter are typically in the 40's, and night lows all through the winter for Hemlock Lake Trail tend to be in the 20's. Don’t forget to check for any current restrictions or closures before you go. Keep in mind that this is a long hiking trail, so don't forget to pack enough supplies. From a rain point of view Hemlock Lake Trail is a relatively typical site; through the month of November you get the most rain around here, and the driest month is July. The total elevation difference for this hiking trail is 2,410 feet which is about average. Backcountry hiking here in the Southern Cascade Range is a very delightful way to see these mountaintops. Oregon has plenty of good great outdoors hiking trails, and Hemlock Lake Trail in Klamath County is one of them.

Briefly about the general area:
So much fun stuff to do in the Southern Cascade Range, not enough time. Why not camp at Hemlock Lake Campground while you're here at Hemlock Lake Trail; paddling on Rogue River - North Fork is so much fun. Some close by water includes Fantail Creek, and do put some time aside to spend at Wickiup Spring if you're here at Hemlock Lake Trail.
This is a great river. Take a little spree to Wickiup Creek since you're here at Hemlock Lake Trail, and camping is available at Upper South Fork Campground. It's always wonderful to take a look at Fantail Spring; a pleasant visit to Wickiup Meadow is a great way to spend an afternoon. Just can't get enough of Hemlock Lake Trail. All our national parks are brilliant spots to visit, and Crater Lake National Park is no exception, and Parker Meadows is a beautiful place any time of year.
There's no way anybody can get bored here in the Southern Cascade Range.
