Southern Cascade Range are a really fine way to spend quality time in the wilderness. And keep in mind that there could be temporary safety restrictions in place. With its 13.6 miles of walking distance; it's considered a longer trek. There are numerous backcountry hiking trails
in Oregon, and each one has its own character. Through the months of summer at Hanan Trail temperatures are regularly in the 80's. During the moonlight hours it's generally in the 50's. The cold days of the wintertime come with highs in the 40's with winter lows in the 20's overnight
here at Hanan Trail.
Briefly about the general area:
So many exciting things to do in the Southern Cascade Range, not sufficient time. There's some flowing water nearby, Witham Creek is a stream you can stop by during your stay, and a short tour to Bald Butte Spring
is always worthwhile. Why not camp at Dairy Creek Campground since you're here at Hanan Trail, and sites like Harvey Flat are tremendous to stop by.
This spot rules, just explore all the fun things to do in close proximity to Hanan Trail. Boulder Spring is a pretty location
to take a look at while you're at Hanan Trail. If you feel like a little side spree, try Government Harvey Pass; a magnificent spot to camp here at Hanan Trail is North Creek Campground. East Witham Creek flows through this area; Kates Dairy is a good spot to stretch your legs a bit.
