Since you're here at Hale Spring Trail why not check out Lyons Canyon, and in the event that you
don’t have a problem getting covered with water, you can always go whitewater paddling on Grande Ronde River. Hale Spring Trail is a fine place to visit for more than one day, Grandview Campground is a fine place to camp nearby, and you'll meet a lot of people from La Grande here.
