Can’t wait to get out in the great outdoors, Grouse Spring Trail in Grant County, Oregon is just what you need. Grouse Spring Trail goes through some very different elevations which of course means you need to be prepared for different conditions on different parts of the trail. High temperatures at Grouse Spring Trail throughout the summer months are in the 80's, and the
    night is quite chillier of course, regularly in the 40's. Highs during the wintertime are regularly in the 40's, and night lows in the 20's for Grouse Spring Trail. This is an area covered with lots of backpacking trails. Sometimes this backcountry hiking trail gets really dry,
so don’t forget to check for any current fire restrictions before you go. Being 11.2 miles long; it's considered a longer backcountry walk. This part of Oregon is always a pleasure to stop by during backpacking season. Please follow all local rules about fires and camping. Hiking here in the Blue Mountains is a very wonderful way to see these mountaintops. Now, this is roughly a 1.5-day backcountry walk, so make sure you've got all your overnight gear packed. Because Grouse Spring Trail is very distant from modern life, when you spend some time backcountry  
trekking here you will feel like a whole new person. Grouse Spring Trail is pretty waterless typically; through the month of May you get the most rain around here; the driest month is July. This wilderness hiking trail is a very long wilderness hiking trail having an average number of uphill miles which makes this a very tough backpacking trail for advanced hikers looking for a great challenge. Backpacking and hiking trails are pleasant and plentiful in Oregon; Grouse Spring Trail in Grant County is one of them. This is a backcountry hiking trail that is quite long, so make sure you bring plenty of supplies. This is a one trailhead backcountry hiking trail, so you're looking at an in and out walk. The total elevation difference for Grouse Spring Trail is 2,535 feet, and that is higher than average.

Briefly about the general area:
A short spree to Goose Spring is always worthwhile; if you came to camp Indian Springs Campground is a glorious site to do that. That right there is plenty of entertaining things already but it goes on, the Blue Mountains has it all. There's some flowing water close by, Roberts Creek is a stream you can explore during your stay; camping at Wickiup Campground is always a great experience.
But wait, there's more to do in the neighborhood of Grouse Spring Trail. Blue Mountain Hot Springs is a gorgeous site to visit while you're at Grouse Spring Trail. Black Mountain Creek flows through this region; everyone loves Little Meadows. If you're here, you might as well stop by Thompson Gulch, and Dead Horse Basin is a nice spot here at Grouse Spring Trail.
