  Hitting the great outdoors trails is always an enjoyable thing to do, and Green Valley Trail in Josephine County, Oregon is just the site. Green Valley Trail is located a rather lengthy tour from Grants Pass, but you always have a fine time when you're backpacking along it. Backcountry hiking trails are glorious and plentiful in Oregon; Green Valley Trail in Josephine County is one of them. There are not too many trails in this region. Please follow all local rules about fires and camping. There is only one trailhead, so you'll be backcountry backpacking it in
    and back out. Summer brings highs in the 80's to Green Valley Trail. All through the moonlight hours it's regularly in the 40's. High temperatures all through the winter are normally in the 40's with temperatures at Green Valley Trail dipping down into the 30's all through winter
nights. Green Valley Trail has a total elevation difference of 810 feet which is a lower than average number. There are numerous great outdoors hiking trails in Oregon, and each one has its own character. This great outdoors hiking trail is not that long but it's always good to bring some emergency supplies, you never know what could happen. These wilderness trails here in the Klamath Mountains are the best way to enjoy these summits. Being 1.4 miles long it's shorter than many backpacking trails. The time needed for this hike is roughly 1 hours, but  
you never know stuff could go wrong and you could get stuck so be prepared for that. Going for a backcountry trek here in Oregon is a fine way to spend some time. Green Valley Trail is on the short side with an average amount of climbing distance which makes it an outstanding trail for the average person looking for an outstanding adventure. This area does get very dry sometimes, so make sure you check current conditions and fire restrictions with local forest authorities before you head out. Green Valley Trail stays roughly within the same elevation zone the whole time which means the conditions are about the same from start to finish. Hiking here in Oregon is a must. Green Valley Trail sees pretty high levels of precipitation; most of the rain falls throughout December while July is the month with the least amount of precipitation.

This is such a wonderful river. You might want to pay a visit to Green Valley if you're here at Green Valley Trail. There's so much to do here at Green Valley Trail that you need to camp here for a while, West Branch Campground is a great location for that, and Oregon Caves National Monument is a perfect national park.
Now, you may imagine that's a heap but there's even more enjoyable stuff to do here in the Klamath Mountains. You're sure to come across some smiling people from Grants Pass here, and Green Valley Trail is delightful enough to spend more than a day at, Fort Goff Campground is a delightful local campground.
