This backcountry hiking trail has only one trailhead, so in and out is the way to backcountry hike it normally. This is one of a very small number of backcountry hiking trails in this vicinity. Even though this is not a very long wilderness hiking trail you should still bring some emergency
    supplies just in case something happens. Put on your hiking shoes, and hit the trail, Green Valley Trail in Josephine County, Oregon is a magnificent choice. Please follow all local rules about fires and camping. Green Valley Trail stays roughly within the same elevation zone the
whole time which means the conditions are about the same from start to finish. Green Valley Trail is a very short great outdoors trail having an average number of uphill miles which makes this backcountry hiking trail fine for the average trekker looking for an exciting adventure. The total elevation difference for this backcountry hiking trail is 810 feet, and that is lower than average. Green Valley Trail is 1.4 miles long it's shorter than many great outdoors hiking trails. There are many great wilderness trails in Oregon; one of them being Green Valley  
Trail in Josephine County. Green Valley Trail is a reasonably wet place generally with a large amount of precipitation; of all the months in a year December is the one with the most rain while July is the month with the least amount of precipitation. Green Valley Trail is not very in the vicinity of Grants Pass at all, but many folks like to trek here to be in the vicinity of the fresh air. This backcountry trek shouldn't take more than 1 hours, but you never know stuff could go wrong and you could get stuck so be prepared for that. Summertime highs at Green Valley Trail generally tend to be in the 80's while nighttime lows are generally in the 40's. High temperatures all through the wintertime are normally in the 40's, and winter nights come with lows in the 30's to Green Valley Trail. This neighborhood does get very dry sometimes, so do check for current fire restrictions before you go if you plan to bring a stove or make a camp fire.

Visiting Oregon Caves National Monument is just something you need to do if you haven't yet. All the outdoors exciting stuff in the Klamath Mountains will keep you coming back time and again. You'll meet a lot of people from Grants Pass here; Green Valley Trail is a splendid place to visit for more than one day, Fort Goff Campground is a splendid place to camp nearby.
Green Valley is a fine location to stop by nearby, and West Branch Campground is a tremendous campground nearby.
