backcountry walk. Please follow all local rules about fires and camping. This is a vicinity covered with lots of backcountry trails. Trekking here in the Central Cascade Range is the best way to enjoy these peaks. This is a two-ended backpacking and hiking trail with two trailheads,
so backcountry trekking it one way is an option if you can arrange for a ride back. This trek shouldn't take more than 6.5 hours, but of course some folks walk a bit slower and some a bit faster. While visiting this region in Oregon it's an excellent idea to go backcountry hiking
too. When you're here in Oregon backcountry hiking along one of its backcountry hiking trails is something that is always fun to do.
Briefly about the general area: Illahee Spring is a great local attraction; why not a little side trip to Rattlesnake Creek. So much
amusing stuff in the Central Cascade Range, just amazing. Life's too short to enjoy all the enjoyable things in the Central Cascade Range. Camping is available at Slim Chance Campground; hey, Onion Creek is a delightful local stream. Paddling on Copland Creek is so much fun;
do put some time aside to spend at Illahee Spring since you're here at Grassy Ranch Trail. A pleasant trip to Horse Prairie is a splendid way to spend an afternoon, and why not camp at Weeping Rock Campground if you're here at Grassy Ranch Trail. That right there is a heap
already, but it carries on; Grassy Ranch Trail has it all. A journey to Crater Lake National Park is recommended, and drift down the rapids of Steamboat Creek in a kayak.
