This backcountry trail has two trailheads, so hiking it one way is an option if you can arrange for a ride back. There's not much difference in elevation along Goss Trail, so you get pretty much the same conditions along the whole hiking and backpacking trail. With its 3.8 miles of walking distance it's shorter than many hiking and backpacking trails. Even though this is not a very long backpacking and hiking trail it's always good to bring some emergency supplies, you never know what could happen. The total elevation difference for this backcountry trail is 680 feet which is a lower than average number. Sometimes this backpacking and hiking trail gets really dry, so do check for current fire restrictions before you go if you plan to bring a stove or make a camp fire. This backcountry walk shouldn't take more than 3 hours, but of course some people walk a bit slower and some a bit faster.
