quality time in nature. Don’t forget to check for any current restrictions or closures before you go. Gordon Butte Trail is quite long, so don't forget to pack enough supplies. Gordon Butte Trail is a relatively wet place regularly with a good deal of rainfall; the month with most
of the snow is December; July is the month with the least moisture. This walk shouldn't take more than 8 hours, but of course some folks walk a bit slower and some a bit faster.
Briefly about the general area: There's no way somebody can get bored here in the Central
Cascade Range. It's always good to pop by Three Bear Spring, and everyone loves Eightmile Meadow. Fret Creek is one of the streams nearby that might be worth taking a look at, and camping at Gordon Butte Trail is great fun, Clinger Campground is a great local campground. There's
some flowing water close by, Marion Creek is a stream you can pop by during your stay; you must stop by Flag Point when you're here. This is such a fun river. During your tour to Gordon Butte Trail you'll meet some folks from Hood River for sure, and whitewater paddling is magnificent
on White River. This is a great river. So much amusing stuff to do in the Central Cascade Range, not enough time. A journey to Sunrise Springs will fill your spirit with glorious feelings; if you came for an overnight stay Dam Campground is a good spot to camp. Life's too short
to enjoy all the exciting stuff near Gordon Butte Trail. Deadman Gulch is in close proximity to Gordon Butte Trail and is without doubt a great place to check out, and paddling on White River is so much fun.
