are in abundance, and Gold Point Trail in Lane County is one of them. Gold Point Trail is a wet location that gets a good deal of precipitation; the wettest month of the year is typically November, that's the one that rains the most; the driest month of the year is July. With its
| | 5.8 miles of walking distance it's a mid length trek. At parts of the year this vicinity sees very little rain, so don’t forget to check for any current fire restrictions before you go. This backpacking and hiking trail is a normal length backpacking and hiking trail having an average number of uphill miles which makes it a tremendous hiking trail for the average person looking for a tremendous adventure. Different parts of Gold Point Trail are at very different elevations, so keep in mind that you may need to dress differently at different elevations. | |

And keep in mind that there could be temporary safety restrictions in spot. This backcountry hike shouldn't take more than 5 hours, but you never know stuff could go wrong and you could get stuck so be prepared for that. Gold Point Trail is not that long but it's always tremendous
to bring some emergency supplies, you never know what could happen. There is only one trailhead, so in and out is the way to backcountry hike it normally. Ok, you've been cooped up too long, time to get out in nature a bit, and Gold Point Trail in Lane County, Oregon is a really
glorious place to spend some time. Summer at Gold Point Trail arrives with high temperatures in the 80's, and through the night it cools down to the 50's. During the wintertime highs are frequently in the 40's, and through the dark hours in the wintertime at Gold Point Trail temperatures
dip to the 30's. Rather far from Albany-Lebanon you come across Gold Point Trail, but what a good place for backcountry hiking it is.
Briefly about the general area: So much enjoyable stuff to do in the Central Cascade Range, not enough time. There's so much to do here
at Gold Point Trail that you need to camp here for a while, Oakridge Mobile Home Park is a glorious spot for that, and get drenched paddling on Christy Creek. Stay the night at Oakridge RV Park, and while you're here, you could visit Marine Creek. Why not pop by nearby PK Creek if you're here at Gold Point Trail, and paddling on Willamette River - North Fork of Middle Fork is so much fun.
