amount of climbing distance which makes it a perfect hiking trail for the average person looking for a perfect adventure. Summertime highs at Gold Point Trail mostly tend to be in the 80's. During the moonlight hours it's typically in the 50's. The cold days of the wintertime come

Some nearby water includes Marine Creek; you can stay the night at Oakridge RV Park. If you want a great time in the great outdoors just come on up to the Central Cascade Range. There are some great whitewater spots on Christy Creek. You'll need more than a day to discover
everything Gold Point Trail has to offer, you can camp at Oakridge Mobile Home Park. If you come at the right time of year, Willamette River - North Fork of Middle Fork offers some magnificent whitewater, and PK Creek is one of the streams nearby that might be worth stopping at.
