about the general area: Camping is available at Oakridge RV Park; you can run the rapids of Salt Creek. So much amusing stuff to do in the Central Cascade Range, not sufficient time. If you came for an overnight stay Oakridge Mobile Home Park is a brilliant place to camp; a
short trip to Cottonwood Spring is always worthwhile. A wonderful site for whitewater paddling in the vicinity of Gobel Creek Trail is Hills Creek.
