Oregon hiking trails - Fuji Mountain Trail, Central Cascade Range, Lane County

   
  Fuji Mountain Trail is rather far away from the closest settlement, and hiking it is always amusing. Here in the nice state of Oregon backpacking is something that is always fun to do. Every great outdoors hiking trail in Oregon has its own unique attractiveness. Summertime at Fuji Mountain Trail arrives with high temperatures in the 80's. When the night sets in temperatures descend down into the 40's. Throughout the wintertime the highs are generally in the 40's, and through the dark hours in the wintertime at Fuji Mountain Trail temperatures descend
    to the 20's. At parts of the year this area sees very little rain, so do check for current fire restrictions before you go if you plan to bring a stove or make a camp fire. Backcountry trekking here in the Central Cascade Range is a really perfect way to spend quality time in nature.
Being 8 miles long it's a mid length backcountry walk. Finally, hiking time is here again, and Fuji Mountain Trail in Lane County, Oregon is a perfect choice. Hiking trails for backpacking, and backpacking can be found all over Oregon, and one of those is Fuji Mountain Trail in Lane County. This is one of many trails in the surrounding neighborhood. And keep in mind that there could be temporary safety restrictions in place. Fuji Mountain Trail goes through some very different elevations, so keep in mind that you may need to dress differently at different  
elevations. This backpacking trail is a normal length backpacking trail having an average number of uphill miles which makes this trail wonderful for hard core backpackers looking for adventure. Fuji Mountain Trail is a wet location that gets a lot of rainfall; the wettest month of the year is mostly December, that's the one that rains the most, and July meanwhile is the driest month. Fuji Mountain Trail is a one trailhead backpacking trail, so you'll be backcountry hiking it in and back out. The time needed for this hike is roughly 7 hours, but of course some folks walk a bit slower and some a bit faster. Fuji Mountain Trail has a total elevation difference of 2,523 feet which is higher than average. This is a hiking trail that is quite long, so don't forget to pack enough supplies. Backcountry trekking here in Oregon is a must.

But wait, there's more exciting stuff to do in the Central Cascade Range. Take a little spree to Fuji Creek since you're here at Fuji Mountain Trail, and Black Meadows is a fine location to check out. Having a nice time in the Central Cascade Range is trouble-free. Construction Creek is near Fuji Mountain Trail and is always a bliss to pop by, and Fuji Meadow is a beautiful site any time of year.
You are in the vicinity of Klovdahl Bay while you're here at Fuji Mountain Trail, and Hills Creek has a great whitewater paddling spot close by. If you came to camp Shelter Cove Resort is a wonderful spot to do that; whitewater paddling is splendid on Salt Creek. You imagine that's enough? Just getting warmed up. If you're here, you might as well check out Pengra Pass, and Fall Creek Falls is a good local attraction.
Camping at Twin Springs Campground is always a fine experience, and do put some time aside to spend at Salt Creek Falls if you're here at Fuji Mountain Trail.
