Francis Way stays roughly within the same elevation zone the whole time, so you won’t have to worry about different climate zones along your hike. You should count on this backcountry trek taking about .5 hours, but of course some folks walk a bit slower and some a bit faster. Don’t forget to check for any current restrictions or closures before you go. The wonderful wilderness hiking trails of the Central Cascade Range are the best way to enjoy these hills. This is one of a very small number of backcountry hiking trails in this region. This backcountry trail has a total elevation difference of 136 feet which is a lower than average number. Hitting the hiking trails is always an exciting thing to do, and Francis Way in Lane County, Oregon is just what you need.
