Briefly about the general area: Fern Creek is one of the streams close by that might be worth a visit; drift down the rapids of Zigzag River in a kayak. If you fancy the outdoors you'll fancy it here in
the Central Cascade Range. Why not camp at Pioneer Tollgate Campground if you're here at Flag Mountain Trail, and if you come at the right time of year, Sandy River offers some nice whitewater. If you came for an overnight stay Bighorn Campground is a great location to camp, and let's not forget Camp Creek which is a stream that you may bump into during your stay.
