Flag Mountain Trail has two trailheads which means you have the option of backcountry trekking it one way if you have someone to pick you up at the other end. Flag Mountain Trail is 3.2 miles long it's a shorter type walk. This backcountry trek shouldn't take more than 2.5 hours, but you never know stuff could go wrong and you could get stuck so be prepared for that. You spend the whole walk in roughly the same elevation zone which means the conditions are about the same from start to finish. The total elevation difference for Flag Mountain Trail is 924 feet which is a lower than average number. Even though this is not a very long hiking trail you should still bring some emergency supplies just in case something happens.
