Oregon hiking trails - Fish Lake Trail, Central Cascade Range, Marion County

   
  Gotta get out of the settlement man, and Fish Lake Trail in Marion County, Oregon is an outstanding place to go. You'll must go far from Hood River to get to Fish Lake Trail, but it is an outstanding retreat from the settlement. Each one of the many backpacking trails of Oregon is worth backcountry trekking. The high level of precipitation makes Fish Lake Trail a relatively wet location; through December this neighborhood sees the most rain, and July is the month with the least moisture. Fish Lake Trail has only one trailhead, so you'll be trekking it
    in and back out. Being 5.4 miles long it's a mid length trek. There are backpacking trails all over Oregon, and Fish Lake Trail in Marion County is one of them. This great outdoors hiking trail sometimes gets very dry, so do check for current fire restrictions before you go if
you plan to bring a stove or make a camp fire. Fish Lake Trail stays roughly within the same elevation zone the whole time, so you get pretty much the same conditions along the whole hiking trail. You should count on this backcountry hike taking about 4.5 hours, but of course some people walk a bit slower and some a bit faster. Backcountry trekking in Oregon never gets boring. With so many outdoors pursuits available in Oregon you'll never get bored. This wilderness trail is a normal length wilderness trail having an average number of uphill miles which  
makes it a wonderful great outdoors trail for the average person looking for a wonderful adventure. And keep in mind that there could be temporary safety restrictions in site. Summertime brings highs in the 70's to Fish Lake Trail while overnight lows are generally in the 50's. Throughout the winter highs are in the 40's while Fish Lake Trail overnight low temperatures through the wintertime are in the 30's. Fish Lake Trail is not that long but you should still bring some emergency supplies just in case something happens. The wilderness trails of the Central Cascade Range are a really good way to spend quality time in the outdoors. Fish Lake Trail has a total elevation difference of 682 feet which is lower than average. This is one of many great outdoors trails in the surrounding region.
