feet which is a lower than average number. There is only one trailhead, so you're looking at an in and out backcountry trek. This is not a very long trail but it's always magnificent to bring some emergency supplies, you never know what could happen.

area: This river is a great place to visit. A visit to Fawn Lake Trail wouldn't be complete without taking a look at Cold Spring, and if you came for an overnight stay Lake Lucile Campground is a pleasant place to camp. And that's not all there is to do here in the Central
Cascade Range. Why not stop at Zims Point also while you're here; some close by water includes Rhodod Creek.
