Rhodod Creek in the vicinity of Fawn Lake Trail is a glorious idea; Fawn Lake Trail is a nice spot to visit for more than one day, Shelter Cove Resort is a nice spot to camp nearby. And if that's not enough there's a lot more enjoyable things to do in the Central Cascade Range.
Stay the night at Lake Lucile Campground; a short trip to Cold Spring is always worthwhile. If you're here at Fawn Lake Trail, do take a visit to Zims Point, and if time allows, Crater Lake National Park is a national park worth checking out.
