down to the 40's. All through the winter the highs are typically in the 40's, and winter nights come with lows in the 30's to Fawn Camp Trail. This backcountry hike shouldn't take more than 6 hours, but you never know stuff could go wrong and you could get stuck so be prepared for that. The high level of precipitation makes Fawn Camp Trail a rather wet spot; November is the wettest month with most rain while July is typically the driest month. This is just one of a large number of hiking and backpacking trails in this region. Fawn Camp Trail has two trailheads, so trekking it one way is an option if you can arrange for a ride back. During your visit to Fawn Camp Trail you'll meet some people from Medford for sure, and it's a delightful idea to pop by Maverick Creek. Now, you may imagine that's loads but there's even more entertaining things to do here in the Southern Cascade Range. Fawn Camp Trail is fine enough to spend more than a day at, Neal Springs Campground is a fine local campground, and a tremendous location for whitewater paddling is Jackson Creek.
Now, you may assume that's a lot but there's even more amusing stuff to do here at Fawn Camp Trail. While you're here at Fawn Camp Trail it's a glorious idea to stop at Bunchgrass Meadows, and Elkhorn Spring is a perfect local attraction. There's so much to do here at Fawn Camp Trail that you need to camp here for a while, Huckleberry Lake Campground is a great site for that; Coalmine Lick is a lovely place to have a look at while you're at Fawn Camp Trail. Whohoo, so much entertaining stuff in one place! The Southern Cascade Range is great!.
Jackson Creek is a great whitewater spot close to Fawn Camp Trail; why not pop by nearby Fawn Creek while you're here at Fawn Camp Trail.
