Plaza Trail is a two ended backcountry trail with two trailheads, so trekking it one way is an option if you can arrange for a ride back. And keep in mind that there could be temporary safety restrictions in site. For the duration of the warmest time of the year highs here at Fanton
Plaza Trail get into the 70's, and during the night it cools down to the 50's. Through the winter this location gets highs in the 40's with winter lows in the 30's overnight here at Fanton Plaza Trail. Each one of the many wilderness trails of Oregon is stunning in its own way.

Briefly about the general area: There are some brilliant whitewater spots on Roaring River, and swing by South Fork Roaring River it's a perfect place to stop by. And that's not everything there is to do here in the Central Cascade Range. Camping
is available at Shining Lake Campground, and don’t forget to visit Squaw Meadow since you're here at Fanton Plaza Trail. Camping at Lookout Springs Campground is always a good experience; why not a little side spree to Grouse Creek. There's whitewater on Sandy River for all you adrenaline people.
