Briefly about the general area: Everybody loves Squaw Meadow, and whitewater paddling is great on Roaring River. Life's too short to enjoy all the exciting things in the Central Cascade
Range. South Fork Roaring River is a great location to take a look at, and get dripping wet paddling on Sandy River. Take a side visit to Grouse Creek. There's so much to do here at Fanton Plaza Trail that you need to camp here for a while, Lookout Springs Campground is a magnificent place for that. If you came to camp Pelton Park is a perfect location to do that.
