Briefly about the general area:
It's always perfect to visit S S Spring; a quick trip to Middle Fork Mount Emily Creek is definitely a good idea. Be careful coming to Evans Trail, you might not ever wanna return home again. La Grande Rendezvous RV Resort is a
good campground nearby, and everyone loves Dixie Flat.
A magnificent location right next door to Evans Trail is Fiddlers Hell; you can run the rapids of Grande Ronde River. You clearly should go for the Blue Mountains. A journey to Tie Spring will fill your soul with great
feelings, and if you came for an overnight stay Grandview Campground is a wonderful place to camp. Man, is there plenty of entertaining stuff to do in the Blue Mountains. Evans Trail is a spot with many visitors from La Grande; Rocky Flat is a tremendous location.
A tremendous location for whitewater paddling close to Evans Trail is Grande Ronde River, and since you're here, you could check out Tie Creek.
