This walk shouldn't take more than 8 hours, but of course some folks walk a bit slower and some a bit faster. This trail has two trailheads which means you have the option of backcountry backpacking it one way if you have someone to pick you up at the other end. Evans Trail is quite long, so do pack enough food to last the whole trip. Evans Trail goes through some very different elevations which of course means you need to be prepared for different conditions on different parts of the hiking trail. This vicinity does get very dry sometimes, so don’t forget to check for any current fire restrictions before you go.
