about the general area: So many exciting things to do in the Central Cascade Range, not sufficient time. There's some flowing water close by, North Fork Cold Spring Creek is a stream you can stop at while you're here; there's whitewater on White River for all you adrenaline
kick people. This spot, the Central Cascade Range, has so much outdoors fun things. Hannum Spring is a great local attraction, and Horsethief Meadows is a fine spot. Just can't get enough of Elk Meadows Trail. South Fork Cold Spring Creek is next to Elk Meadows Trail and is
always a joy to visit, and you can run the rapids of Hood River - East Fork. This is a great river. It's always delightful to have a look at Tamanawas Falls, and the good folks of Hood River like to hang out nearby. This river is so wonderful. Nottingham Campground is a glorious
campground here. Elk Meadows is a brilliant site to check out; close by you discover perfect spots like Sand Canyon. A journey to close by Buzzard Point is very relaxing, and Elk Meadows Trail is a glorious site to camp, Dufur Valley Farms is a glorious site.
