Finally, backcountry backpacking time is here again, and Edison Ice Cave and Lava Trail in Deschutes County, Oregon is a really brilliant place to spend some time. This is a long wilderness hiking trail, so don't forget to pack enough supplies. Being 18 miles long; it's a long hiking trail.

Dutchman Creek is a great place to go to, and a fine location like Wire Meadow here at Edison Ice Cave and Lava Trail is too splendid to miss. It's always good to go to Soda Spring, and Round Mountain Pass is also a glorious place to explore.
Stay the night at Upper Campground, and Dutchman Flat is right here at Edison Ice Cave and Lava Trail. Not enough hours in a day to enjoy the Central Cascade Range. This is a really good river. Take a side spree to Crater Creek. You'll need more than a day to look at everything Edison Ice Cave and Lava Trail has to offer, you can camp at East Lake Resort and RV Parks.
So much amusing stuff to do here at Edison Ice Cave and Lava Trail, too glorious to be true. Put some time aside to spend at Elk Lake Springs if you're here at Edison Ice Cave and Lava Trail; in the event that you don't mind getting soaked, you can always go whitewater paddling on Deschutes River.
