Oregon hiking trails - East Mountain Trail, Central Cascade Range, Clackamas County       Each hiking and backpacking trail in Oregon has something unique to offer. East Mountain Trail is a wilderness trail quite far from Portland-Vancouver-Beaverton, but there's brilliant natural loveliness awaiting you here along it. Backcountry hiking trails for trekking, and backpacking can be found all over Oregon; one of them being East Mountain Trail in Clackamas County. The time needed for this backcountry walk is roughly 2.5 hours, but of course some folks walk a bit slower and some a bit faster. East Mountain Trail has only one trailhead, so in and out is     the way to trek it normally. Alright, enough of spending all this time inside a building, time to get out, and if you happen to be in Clackamas County of Oregon, East Mountain Trail is a tremendous local wilderness trail for doing a bit of leg stretching. These backpacking trails here in the Central Cascade Range are the best way to enjoy these mountains. Don’t forget to check for any current restrictions or closures before you go. There's not much difference in elevation along East Mountain Trail which means the conditions are about the same from start to finish. East Mountain Trail is a wet spot that gets much precipitation; the month with most of the rain is December, and July is when it's the driest. Trekking in Oregon is always an amusing thing to do. Throughout the days of summer, highs frequently are in the 70's at East   Mountain Trail with overnight lows in the 50's. The cold days of the wintertime come with highs in the 40's, and winter nights come with lows in the 30's to East Mountain Trail. This backpacking and hiking trail is not that long but you should still bring some emergency supplies just in case something happens. This is one of a very small number of wilderness trails in this neighborhood. East Mountain Trail is 2.8 miles long it's a short great outdoors trail. Oregon is a tremendous spot for outdoors people. This backpacking trail is on the short side with an average amount of climbing distance which makes it a brilliant wilderness trail for the average person looking for a brilliant adventure.
