if you're here at Eagle Creek Trail, and in case you don’t have a problem getting soaked, you can always go whitewater paddling on Hood River - Lake Branch. And that's not all there is to do here in the Central Cascade Range. Government Cove is in the neighborhood and always
splendid to visit; Greenleaf Basin is right here at Eagle Creek Trail. A good place for whitewater paddling near Eagle Creek Trail is Wind River, and Eagle Creek Trail is not far at all from Hood River.
