Briefly about the general area: You can run the rapids of Sandy River in the vicinity of Eagle Creek Cutoff, and Brownell Spring is a fine local attraction. That right
there is a heap already, but it keeps on going; Eagle Creek Cutoff has it all. La Dee Flat is a wonderful place. If you came to camp Windell's Snowboard Camp is a good site to do that; some of the water close by flows, like South Fork Roaring River. There's whitewater on Roaring
River for all you adrenaline people; hey, Shining Creek is a magnificent local stream. All year is a fine time in the Central Cascade Range if you love the outdoors. There's so much to do here at Eagle Creek Cutoff that you need to camp here for a while, Lookout Springs Campground is a brilliant place for that, and Squaw Meadow is a nice site to check out.
