Man, is there a heap of exciting things to do in the Central Cascade Range. Big Spring is an inspiring site to go to during your stay, and whitewater paddling is not for everybody but if it's for you then, we recommend Santiam River - North. There are some tremendous whitewater spots on Marion Creek, and some close by water includes Swede Creek.
Marion Flats is a picturesque place any time of year, and if you came for an overnight stay Tombstone Prairie Campground is a good place to camp.
