This is a one trailhead backcountry hiking trail, so you're looking at an in and out walk. Duffy Lake Trail is quite long, so do pack enough food to last the whole trip. This wilderness hiking trail goes through some very different

With its 9.2 miles of walking distance; it's a long wilderness hiking trail.

It's a splendid idea to visit Swede Creek, it's close to Duffy Lake Trail, and a brilliant location to camp here at Duffy Lake Trail is Country Star Recreational Vehicle Park.
Whitewater paddling is not for everybody but if it's for you then we recommend Santiam River - North, and Duffy Lake Trail is delightful enough to spend more than a day at, Tombstone Prairie Campground is a delightful local campground. Big Spring is always fun to check out, and you have to undeniably dedicate some time to Marion Flats since you're here at Duffy Lake Trail. If you want a delightful time in the great outdoors just come on up to the Central Cascade Range. A good spot like Duffy Prairie here at Duffy Lake Trail is too fine to miss; if you come at the right time of year, Marion Creek offers some glorious whitewater.
