  Oregon has plenty of great wilderness trails; one of these is Driveway Trail in Clackamas County. There are plenty of wilderness trails in Oregon; each one of them has its own character. Hitting the backpacking trails is always an amusing thing to do, and Driveway Trail in Clackamas County, Oregon is a really delightful place to spend some time. Being 5.6 miles long it's a mid length hike. This wilderness trail sometimes gets very dry, so do check for current fire restrictions before you go if you plan to bring a stove or make a camp fire. Through the days
    of summer highs here at Driveway Trail reach the 70's. Summer night lows plunge down to the 50's. During the wintertime highs are regularly in the 40's, and night lows in the 30's for Driveway Trail. You should count on this hike taking about 5 hours, but you never know stuff could
go wrong and you could get stuck so be prepared for that. A lengthy tour separates Hood River from Driveway Trail, but hiking it is always enjoyable. The total elevation difference for Driveway Trail is 681 feet which is lower than average. There's not much difference in elevation along Driveway Trail which means the conditions are about the same from start to finish. Please follow all local rules about fires and camping. There are not too many great outdoors trails in this vicinity. Driveway Trail has two trailheads which means you have the option of backcountry  
trekking it one way if you have someone to pick you up at the other end. Great outdoors trails like this one here in the Central Cascade Range are a very pleasant way to see these mountains. All the water falling down from the sky makes Driveway Trail a wet location; the month of December is the wettest with most of the rain, and July on the other hand is the driest. This backpacking and hiking trail is a mid length backpacking and hiking trail with an average amount of climbing distance which makes it a good great outdoors trail for the average person looking for a good adventure. Here in Oregon trekking is always an enjoyable thing to do. This is not a very long wilderness trail but you should still bring some emergency supplies just in case something happens. No chance of getting bored in Oregon if you like the outdoors.

Yep, outdoors amusing stuff truly is bountiful here in the Central Cascade Range. You might want to pay a visit to Abbot Pass while you're here at Driveway Trail, and Salmon River Campground is a great campground nearby.
