get bored here in the Central Cascade Range. A pleasant tour to Horkelia Meadow is a wonderful way to spend an afternoon.
Polallie Creek is a pretty stream that is worth visiting, and Hood River - East Fork is a glorious whitewater spot nearby. If you wish for a little side
spree, try Weygandt Canyon, and if you don't mind getting drenched, you can always go whitewater paddling on Hood River - West Fork. Life's too short to enjoy all the entertaining stuff close to Dog River Trail. The smiling folks of Hood River like to hang out close by, and don't
leave Dog River Trail without first paying a visit to Powder Springs.
So much fun stuff to do in the Central Cascade Range, not enough time. The beauty of mother nature reveals herself at Clinger Spring, and a good spot to camp here at Dog River Trail is Clinger Campground.
