    trail delightful for hard core backpackers looking for adventure. Being 11 miles long; it's a long wilderness hiking trail. Throughout the summertime highs here at Devils Canyon Trail get into the 70's. Once the sun is down it dips down to the 50's. All through the winter highs
are in the 40's with temperatures at Devils Canyon Trail dipping down into the 30's during winter nights. Keep in mind that this is a long great outdoors trail, so do pack enough food to last the whole trip. Devils Canyon Trail gets lots of water; December is when you get the most rain here, and July is the month with the least moisture. There are plenty of wilderness trails in Oregon; each one of them has its own unique attractiveness. Hiking trails like this one here in the Central Cascade Range are an excellent way to explore these hills. Please follow  
all local rules about fires and camping. The total elevation difference for this hiking and backpacking trail is 1,797 feet, and that is about average. Now, this is roughly a 1.5-day trek, so better have big backpack to fit all the stuff you need. This is a neighborhood covered with lots of backcountry trails. If you are in Oregon during hiking season you have to go hiking. Devils Canyon Trail has two trailheads, so hiking it one way is an option if you can arrange for a ride back. Some parts of this wilderness hiking trail are much higher up than other parts of the wilderness hiking trail, and that means that some parts of the wilderness hiking trail could be very different from other parts of it.

Do set aside some time for Old Maid Flat while you're here at Devils Canyon Trail, and you might also want to pay a visit to Zigzag Canyon while you're here at Devils Canyon Trail. Having a brilliant time at Devils Canyon Trail is easy. There's so much to do here at Devils Canyon Trail that you need to camp here for a while, Twin Bridges Campground is a good location for that; don’t forget to explore Wind Creek Basin since you're here at Devils Canyon Trail.
Whohoo, so many entertaining things in one place! The Central Cascade Range is excellent! Don't forget to take a great little trip to Wind Creek, and a spree to Devils Canyon Trail wouldn't be complete without taking a look at Yocum Falls. In the event that you don't mind getting covered with water, you can always go whitewater paddling on Sandy River, and Ramona Falls is an inspiring place to take a look at while here. Whitewater paddling is delightful on Zigzag River, and do have a look at Lady Creek since you're here at Devils Canyon Trail.
You just can't imagine the amount of outdoors amusing things the Central Cascade Range has to offer. You'll need more than a day to look at everything Devils Canyon Trail has to offer, you can camp at Devils Meadow Campground, and you'll meet a lot of people from Hood River here.
