trail is not that long but it's always good to bring some emergency supplies, you never know what could happen. The time needed for this backcountry hike is roughly 5 hours, but you never know stuff could go wrong and you could get stuck so be prepared for that.

So much enjoyable stuff in the Central Cascade Range, just mind-blowing. Life's too short to enjoy all the amusing stuff in the Central Cascade Range. If you don’t have a problem getting dripping wet, you can always go whitewater paddling on Steamboat
Creek; a great place to camp here at Deception Way is River View RV Park.
This river is a great place to visit. A magnificent spot for whitewater paddling near Deception Way is Copland Creek, and hey, Dry Gulch Creek is a glorious local stream. And if that's not sufficient,
there's a load more to do in the vicinity of Deception Way. Dark Canyon is a wonderful location to have a look at nearby, and Little Oak Flat is a great site to check out. Places like Illahee Flats are good to have a look at; why not camp at Weeping Rock Campground since you're
here at Deception Way.
While you're here at Deception Way you must go to Charcoal Point; some of the water close by flows, like Deception Creek.
