| | A visit to Oregon is not complete without some backcountry trekking. Gotta get out of the town man, and Dealy Way in Lane County, Oregon is such a glorious place. If you happen to be in Oregon, why not go trekking, it never gets boring. Every Oregon wilderness trail has something unique to offer. Being 11.8 miles long; it's longer than many hiking and backpacking trails. Backcountry hiking trails are great and plentiful in Oregon, and Dealy Way in Lane County is one of them. difference of 2,050 feet which is an average number. The high level of rainfall makes Dealy Way a reasonably wet site; the month of December is the wettest with most of the rain while July is the month with the least amount of precipitation. The backpacking trails of the Central
| | Cascade Range are the best way to enjoy these hills. This is a backcountry trail that is quite long, so do pack enough food to last the whole trip. This is a one trailhead backcountry hiking trail, so you'll be backcountry backpacking it in and back out. Sometimes this backcountry trail gets really dry, so do check for current fire restrictions before you go if you plan to bring a stove or make a camp fire. Way is not very in the neighborhood of Bend at all, but it is an enjoyable place to backcountry hike. Through the long summer days highs here at Dealy Way get into the 80's. Summer overnight lows fall down to the 40's. The cold days of the winter come with highs in the 40's, and
overnight lows in the 20's for Dealy Way. This is one of many backcountry trails in the surrounding neighborhood. Different parts of Dealy Way are at very different elevations, so keep in mind that you may need to dress differently at different elevations. Dealy Way is many miles
long with an average amount of climbing distance which makes it an outstanding backcountry trail for experienced backcountry hikers in magnificent shape.
Briefly about the general area: Whohoo, so many fun things in one place! Dealy Way is excellent! A wonderful place
to camp here at Dealy Way is Twin Springs Campground; why not camp at East Lake Resort and RV Parks while you're here at Dealy Way. Glide down the rapids of Horse Creek in a kayak; swing by Elk Creek it's a tremendous place to take a look at. A short tour to Bill Gott Spring
is always worthwhile, and why not a little side tour to Wildcat Creek. Corral Draw is in the vicinity of Dealy Way and is definitely a pleasant spot to check out, and since you're here at Dealy Way it's a tremendous idea to stop by Corral Flat. Just can't get enough of the Central
Cascade Range. Do set aside some time for Reilly Meadows since you're here at Dealy Way, and get yourself into a kayak and hit McKenzie River - South Fork. And if that's not sufficient there's loads more exciting things to do in the Central Cascade Range.
