    this backcountry hiking trail is pretty long, so don't forget to pack enough supplies. With its 10.4 miles of walking distance; it's a long backpacking and hiking trail. Some parts of Dead Mountain Trail are much higher up than other parts of the backpacking and hiking trail, and
that means that some parts of the backpacking and hiking trail could be very different from other parts of it. The high level of rainfall makes Dead Mountain Trail a reasonably wet spot; November is the wettest month with most rain, and July on the other hand is the driest. Dead Mountain Trail is many miles long with an average amount of climbing distance which makes it a fine wilderness hiking trail for experienced backcountry trekkers in tremendous shape. The warmest time of the year at Dead Mountain Trail comes with high temperatures in the 80's, and  
all through the night it cools down to the 50's. Throughout the wintertime this spot gets highs in the 40's, and overnight lows in the 30's for Dead Mountain Trail. Now, this is roughly a 1.5-day backcountry walk, so better have big backpack to fit all the stuff you need. This part of Oregon is always a diversion to stop by during backcountry hiking season. There are plenty of hiking trails in Oregon; each one of them has something unique to offer. Sometimes this backcountry hiking trail gets really dry, so make sure you check current conditions and fire restrictions with local forest authorities before you head out. Here in the delightful state of Oregon backcountry backpacking is so much fun. This trail has two trailheads, so backpacking it one way is an option if you can arrange for a ride back. Great outdoors trails like this one here in the Central Cascade Range are the best way to enjoy these mountaintops.

Briefly about the general area:
Paddling on Salt Creek is so much fun, and a pleasant journey to Major Prairie is a nice way to spend an afternoon. Man, is there loads of fun stuff to do in the Central Cascade Range. Eagle Butte Creek is a stream that you may stumble upon while you're here; Dead Mountain Trail is in the neighborhood of Devils Canyon which is without doubt worth a visit.
And if that's not sufficient, there's heaps more to do near Dead Mountain Trail. Wall Creek flows through this region; Christy Creek has a great whitewater paddling spot nearby. So many fun things to do here in the Central Cascade Range, too great to be true. You'll need more than a day to discover everything Dead Mountain Trail has to offer, you can camp at Oakridge Mobile Home Park. Stay the night at Oakridge RV Park, and a spree to Warm Springs will fill your soul with fine feelings.
Do set aside some time for Christy Flats if you're here at Dead Mountain Trail, and do put some time aside to spend at Salmon Falls if you're here at Dead Mountain Trail.
