This is a two-ended backcountry trail with two trailheads, so backcountry backpacking it one way is an option if you can arrange for a ride back. Cub Creek Trail is 10.2 miles long; it's considered a longer trek. At parts of the year this area sees very little rain, so don’t forget to check for any current fire restrictions before you go. This is a long great outdoors trail, so don't forget to pack enough supplies. The total elevation difference for this backcountry trail is 1,750 feet, and that is about average. Cub Creek Trail goes through some very different elevations, so keep in mind that you may need to dress differently at different elevations. The time needed for this trek is roughly 9 hours, but of course some folks walk a bit slower and some a bit faster.
