This backcountry trail has only one trailhead, so you'll be trekking it in and back out. All the water falling down from the sky makes Crater Peak Trail a wet spot; the wettest month of the year is mostly December, that's the one that snows the most, and July is when it's the driest. here; you'll meet a lot of folks from Klamath Falls here. Sevenmile Marsh Campground is a splendid campground nearby; a good site nearby is Tututni Pass. Crater Lake National Park is one of the destinations near Crater Peak Trail that are pleasant to go to; if you came for
an overnight stay Mazama Campground is a wonderful place to camp. Vidae Creek flows through this region, and a pleasant tour to Sun Meadows is a splendid way to spend an afternoon. If you want a wonderful time in the great outdoors, just come on down to Crater Peak Trail.
