  It's a lengthy journey from Klamath Falls to Crater Peak Trail, but you always have a brilliant time when you're backcountry backpacking along it. Every Oregon great outdoors trail has something unique to offer. Backcountry hiking here in Oregon is always a cool thing to do. There are not too many great outdoors trails in this neighborhood. There are many fine great outdoors trails in Oregon, and Crater Peak Trail in Klamath County is one of them. For the period of the warm months here at Crater Peak Trail, high temperatures mostly get into the 60's. Once
    the sun is down it descends down to the 40's. High temperatures throughout the wintertime are normally in the 30's with temperatures at Crater Peak Trail dipping down into the 10's throughout winter nights. This is not a very long backcountry hiking trail but you should still bring
some emergency supplies just in case something happens. These trails here in the Southern Cascade Range are the best way to enjoy these hills. This backcountry trail has only one trailhead, so you'll be trekking it in and back out. All the water falling down from the sky makes Crater Peak Trail a wet spot; the wettest month of the year is mostly December, that's the one that snows the most, and July is when it's the driest. With its 4.8 miles of walking distance it's an average length hiking trail. There's not much difference in elevation along the hiking  
trail, so you won’t have to worry about different climate zones along your trek. In Oregon you never run out of outdoors fun. And keep in mind that there could be temporary safety restrictions in site. The time needed for this walk is roughly 4 hours, but you never know stuff could go wrong and you could get stuck so be prepared for that. Hitting the hiking trails is always an exciting thing to do, and if you happen to be in Klamath County of Oregon, Crater Peak Trail is a brilliant local hiking trail for doing a bit of leg stretching. This trail is a normal length trail with an average amount of climbing distance which makes this great outdoors trail nice for the average trekker looking for a fun adventure. This backcountry hiking trail sometimes gets very dry, so don’t forget to check for any current fire restrictions before you go. The total elevation difference for this backcountry trail is 838 feet, and that is lower than average.

Briefly about the general area:
Yeah, come up here to the Southern Cascade Range for a good time. East Fork Annie Creek is a stream that you may come across while here; you'll meet a lot of folks from Klamath Falls here. Sevenmile Marsh Campground is a splendid campground nearby; a good site nearby is Tututni Pass.
Crater Lake National Park is one of the destinations near Crater Peak Trail that are pleasant to go to; if you came for an overnight stay Mazama Campground is a wonderful place to camp. Vidae Creek flows through this region, and a pleasant tour to Sun Meadows is a splendid way to spend an afternoon. If you want a wonderful time in the great outdoors, just come on down to Crater Peak Trail.
