that gets the most rain while July is frequently the driest month. High temperatures at Crater Butte Trail during the warm days of summer are in the 80's. Throughout the moonlight hours it's generally in the 40's. The cold days of the winter come with highs in the 40's with temperatures
at Crater Butte Trail dipping down into the 20's during winter nights. This vicinity does get very dry sometimes, so don’t forget to check for any current fire restrictions before you go. This hiking trail has only one trailhead, so you're looking at an in and out backcountry walk.

is a brilliant local campground, and of course Rhodod Creek is a stunning stream that is worth stopping at. Having a pleasant time in the Central Cascade Range is trouble-free. Lake Lucile Campground is a pleasant campground nearby, and don't forget to take a good little tour
to Wharf Creek. Crater Lake National Park is a fine local destination here at Crater Butte Trail, and a spree to Crater Butte Trail wouldn't be complete without taking a look at Cold Spring. Willamette Pass is near Crater Butte Trail and is a perfect spot, and you are near Sunset Cove since you're here.
