  Backpacking in Oregon is such a good thing to do. There are hiking trails all over Oregon, and one of those is Crater Butte Trail in Klamath County. Every hiking trail in Oregon is lovely in its own way. Please follow all local rules about fires and camping. The great outdoors hiking trail stays roughly within the same elevation zone the whole time, so you won’t have to worry about different climate zones along your backcountry hike. Crater Butte Trail is a mid-length hiking trail having an average number of uphill miles which makes it a tremendous backpacking
    trail for experienced backcountry hikers in nice shape. Crater Butte Trail has only one trailhead, so you'll be backcountry hiking it in and back out. A large amount of rainfall falls at Crater Butte Trail; the month with most of the rain is December; the driest month of the year
is July. This neighborhood does get very dry sometimes, so don’t forget to check for any current fire restrictions before you go. This trail has a total elevation difference of 881 feet, and that is lower than average. You should count on this backcountry trek taking about 7.5 hours, but of course some people walk a bit slower and some a bit faster. Alright, enough of spending all this time inside a building, time to get out, and Crater Butte Trail in Klamath County, Oregon is such a good place. A lengthy journey separates Bend from Crater Butte Trail,  
but It's always amusing to backcountry trek here. If you happen to be in Oregon, why not go hiking, it never gets boring. This is a long backpacking trail, so don't forget to pack enough supplies. This is just one of a large number of backpacking trails in this area. Crater Butte Trail is 8.4 miles long it's a mid length backcountry hike. The hiking trails of the Central Cascade Range are the best way to enjoy these mountains. The warmest time of the year at Crater Butte Trail arrives with high temperatures in the 80's. Once the sun is down it descends down to the 40's. The cold days of the wintertime come with highs in the 40's; winter nights come with lows in the 20's to Crater Butte Trail.

Briefly about the general area:
Visiting Crater Lake National Park is just something you need to do if you haven't yet; Rhodod Creek is near Crater Butte Trail and is always a pleasure to explore. Take a little tour to Wharf Creek since you're here at Crater Butte Trail. There's so much to do here at Crater Butte Trail that you need to camp here for a while, Shelter Cove Resort is a fine place for that.
But wait, there's more amusing stuff to do in the Central Cascade Range. Willamette Pass is next to Crater Butte Trail and is a good place, and Sunset Cove is quite close. Crater Butte Trail is good enough to spend more than a day at, Lake Lucile Campground is a good local campground, and don't leave Crater Butte Trail without first paying a visit to Cold Spring. Be careful coming to Crater Butte Trail, you might not ever want to go back home again.
