time aside to spend at Salt Creek Falls while you're here at Crain Prairie Trail, and a splendid site like Pothole Meadow here at Crain Prairie Trail is too great to miss. Any time is a pleasant time at Crain Prairie Trail if you have a thing about the outdoors. Nettie Creek is
a wonderful stream that is worth checking out, and Willamette Pass is also a great spot to look at. If you don't mind getting soaked, you can always go whitewater paddling on McKenzie River - South Fork; don’t forget to stop at Black Meadows while you're here at Crain Prairie
Trail. Shadow Bay is close to Crain Prairie Trail and is a great place to check out. You'll need more than a day to explore everything Crain Prairie Trail has to offer, you can camp at Twin Springs Campground.
