| | You'll have to go far from Albany-Lebanon to get to Crabtree Lake Trail, but trekking it is tremendous fun any time. We all need to get out in the fresh air once in a while, and Crabtree Lake Trail in Linn County, Oregon is a wonderful place to go. When you're here in Oregon trekking along one of its great outdoors trails is the perfect thing to do. Being 4 miles long it's an average length great outdoors hiking trail. These backpacking trails here in the Central Cascade Range are the best way to enjoy these peaks. Oregon is a fine spot for outdoors folks. |

This is one of a very small number of great outdoors trails in this area. Every single Oregon great outdoors trail has its own unique splendor. Summertime highs at Crabtree Lake Trail mostly tend to be in the 80's; the night is fairly colder of course, usually in the 50's. The
| | wintertime brings highs down to the 40's; through the dark hours in the wintertime at Crabtree Lake Trail temperatures dip to the 30's. There are so many perfect great outdoors trails for trekking in Oregon; one of them being Crabtree Lake Trail in Linn County. Crabtree Lake Trail usually gets lots of rainfall; all through the month of December you get the most rain around here, and July is the month with the least moisture. of 491 feet which is lower than average. This hike shouldn't take more than 3.5 hours, but you never know stuff could go wrong and you could get stuck so be prepared for that. Crabtree Lake Trail is a normal length backpacking trail having an average number of uphill miles which
makes it a great great outdoors trail for the average person looking for a great adventure. There are two trailheads to chose from, one in each end which means you have the option of backcountry hiking it one way if you have someone to pick you up at the other end. You spend the
whole walk in roughly the same elevation zone, so you get pretty much the same conditions along the whole great outdoors hiking trail. This vicinity does get very dry sometimes, so don’t forget to check for any current fire restrictions before you go. Crabtree Lake Trail is not
that long but you should still bring some emergency supplies just in case something happens.
Briefly about the general area:
Crabtree Lake Trail is magnificent enough to spend more than a day at, Taylor Park is a magnificent local campground, and don't forget to take
a glorious little tour to Bonnie Creek. You just can't envision the amount of outdoors fun stuff the Central Cascade Range has to offer. Camping at Menears Bend Campground is always a magnificent experience; you can run the rapids of Thomas Creek.
Why not stop at close by White Rock Creek if you're here at Crabtree Lake Trail, and Santiam River - Little North is a splendid whitewater spot close by.
