Wonderful trail Says Anonymous
Crabtree Lake Trail is a two ended great outdoors hiking trail with two trailheads, so if you can get a ride from someone, you can backcountry trek it just one way. Crabtree Lake Trail has a total elevation difference of 491 feet, and that is lower than average. This backcountry hike shouldn't take more than 3.5 hours, but of course some folks walk a bit slower and some a bit faster. With its 4 miles of walking distance it's an average length backcountry hiking trail. This hiking trail is not that long but you should still bring some emergency supplies just in case something happens. There's not much difference in elevation along Crabtree Lake Trail, so you get pretty much the same conditions along the whole backcountry hiking trail. This vicinity does get very dry sometimes, so make sure you check current conditions and fire restrictions with local forest authorities before you head out.
