| | This part of Oregon is always a delight to take a look at during backcountry backpacking season. Quite far from Albany-Lebanon you find Cowhorn Trail, but it is a splendid trail. Every Oregon backcountry trail is well worth a walk. This trail sometimes gets very dry, so make sure you check current conditions and fire restrictions with local forest authorities before you head out. There are not too many trails in this region. for a ride back. Wilderness hiking trails for backcountry trekking, and backpacking can be found all over Oregon, and one of these is Cowhorn Trail in Lane County. This backcountry walk shouldn't take more than 1.5 hours, but you never know stuff could go wrong and you could get
| | stuck so be prepared for that. Cowhorn Trail gets much water; the month of November is the wettest with most of the rain, and the driest month is July. You spend the whole trek in roughly the same elevation zone which means the conditions are about the same from start to finish. The pretty wilderness trails of the Central Cascade Range are a very good way to see these summits. Cowhorn Trail is a very short wilderness trail having an average number of uphill miles which makes it a tremendous trail for the average person looking for a tremendous adventure. | |

Going for a walk here in Oregon is a splendid idea. For the duration of the summer months at Cowhorn Trail highs are usually in the 80's. Summer overnight lows dip down to the 50's. Throughout the winter the highs are usually in the 40's, and overnight lows at Cowhorn Trail during
the winter usually dip into the 30's. Even though this is not a very long trail it's always tremendous to bring some emergency supplies, you never know what could happen. Hitting the trails is always an amusing thing to do, and Cowhorn Trail in Lane County, Oregon is a splendid
location for getting out. Cowhorn Trail is 1.8 miles long it's a short wilderness trail. And keep in mind that there could be temporary safety restrictions in place. The total elevation difference for Cowhorn Trail is 194 feet, and that is lower than average.
