Backcountry backpacking here in the Wallowa Mountains is the best way to enjoy these summits. This is just one of a large number of wilderness trails in this area. This backcountry walk should take you about 2 days, so better have big backpack to fit all the stuff you need. Being 13.2 miles long; it's considered a longer backcountry hike. Summertime highs at Copper  
Creek Trail mostly tend to be in the 80's, and the night is a bit colder of course, mostly in the 40's. All through the winter the highs are mostly in the 30's, and night lows in the 10's for Copper Creek Trail. It is very waterless here at Copper Creek Trail frequently; December is when you get the most snow here; July is the month with the least moisture. So many entertaining things to do here at Copper Creek Trail, too good to be true. Visit Elkhorn Creek since you're here at Copper Creek Trail. Stay the night at Nez Perce Trailer and RV Park, and a spree to Brownie Basin rejuvenates the soul. Hurricane Rapids is a beautiful spot to check out while you're at Copper Creek Trail, and Main Eagle Bridge Campground is a good campground nearby.
