refuge from the settlement. This is a two-ended backpacking trail with two trailheads, so if you can get a ride from someone, you can backcountry trek it just one way. This hike shouldn't take more than 7.5 hours, but of course some people walk a bit slower and some a bit faster.
Cool Creek Trail gets a great deal of water; the wettest month of the year is ordinarily December, that's the one that rains the most while July is ordinarily the driest month. This is a long backcountry trail, so don't forget to pack enough supplies. Summer brings highs in the
70's to Cool Creek Trail while nighttime lows are regularly in the 50's. For the duration of the wintertime highs are regularly in the 40's, and all through the dark hours in the wintertime at Cool Creek Trail temperatures dip to the 30's.

Cascade Range, has so much outdoors exciting stuff. There's whitewater on Zigzag River for all you adrenaline junkies. Lots of fun awaits you along this river. You'll need more than a day to discover everything Cool Creek Trail has to offer, you can camp at Kinzel Lake Campground,
and some close by water includes Bruin Run Creek. If you love the outdoors you'll love it here in the Central Cascade Range. There's so much to do here at Cool Creek Trail that you need to camp here for a while, Pioneer Tollgate Campground is a perfect place for that, and you can
run the rapids of Sandy River. Wind Creek Basin is a striking spot any time of year; the cheerful folks of Hood River like to hang out nearby. Vanishing Falls is an inspiring place to stop by while you're here, and Cool Creek is near Cool Creek Trail and is always a delight to pop by.
