Cool Creek Trail is a mid-length wilderness trail having an average number of uphill miles which makes it a brilliant backpacking and hiking trail for experienced trekkers in good shape.     County is one of them. When was the last time you got out in nature a bit? Cool Creek Trail in Clackamas County, Oregon is nature at its best. The total elevation difference for this backpacking trail is 3,377 feet which is higher than average. Cool Creek Trail is 8.6 miles long
it's an average length wilderness hiking trail. And keep in mind that there could be temporary safety restrictions in place. The wilderness trails of the Central Cascade Range are a very delightful way to see these mountaintops. This is one of many backpacking and hiking trails in the surrounding area. Different parts of Cool Creek Trail are at very different elevations, and that means that some parts of the wilderness hiking trail could be very different from other parts of it. A long journey parts Hood River from Cool Creek Trail, but it is a glorious  
refuge from the settlement. This is a two-ended backpacking trail with two trailheads, so if you can get a ride from someone, you can backcountry trek it just one way. This hike shouldn't take more than 7.5 hours, but of course some people walk a bit slower and some a bit faster. Cool Creek Trail gets a great deal of water; the wettest month of the year is ordinarily December, that's the one that rains the most while July is ordinarily the driest month. This is a long backcountry trail, so don't forget to pack enough supplies. Summer brings highs in the 70's to Cool Creek Trail while nighttime lows are regularly in the 50's. For the duration of the wintertime highs are regularly in the 40's, and all through the dark hours in the wintertime at Cool Creek Trail temperatures dip to the 30's.

Briefly about the general area:
This is no place for people who don’t like to have a good time. Cool Creek Trail is in the neighborhood of Devil Canyon which is without doubt worth a visit, and a trip to Cool Creek Trail wouldn't be complete without taking a look at Little Niagara Falls. This site, the Central Cascade Range, has so much outdoors exciting stuff. There's whitewater on Zigzag River for all you adrenaline junkies.
Lots of fun awaits you along this river. You'll need more than a day to discover everything Cool Creek Trail has to offer, you can camp at Kinzel Lake Campground, and some close by water includes Bruin Run Creek. If you love the outdoors you'll love it here in the Central Cascade Range. There's so much to do here at Cool Creek Trail that you need to camp here for a while, Pioneer Tollgate Campground is a perfect place for that, and you can run the rapids of Sandy River. Wind Creek Basin is a striking spot any time of year; the cheerful folks of Hood River like to hang out nearby.
Vanishing Falls is an inspiring place to stop by while you're here, and Cool Creek is near Cool Creek Trail and is always a delight to pop by.
