Briefly
about the general area: This is no site for people who don’t like to have a good time. You must certainly dedicate some time to Wind Creek Basin while you're here at Cool Creek Trail, and there are some splendid whitewater spots on Sandy River. Bruin Run Creek flows through
this vicinity, and Kinzel Lake Campground is a tremendous campground nearby. So much cool stuff to do in the Central Cascade Range, not sufficient time. If you come at the right time of year, Zigzag River offers some magnificent whitewater, and Cool Creek Trail is a great spot
to visit for more than one day, Pioneer Tollgate Campground is a great spot to camp nearby. If you want a little side visit, try Devil Canyon, and Vanishing Falls is always fun to check out. If you're here at Cool Creek Trail, you could take a look at Cool Creek, and Little Niagara
Falls is a pleasant local attraction. There's no way somebody can get bored here in the Central Cascade Range. There are plenty of folks from Hood River here at Cool Creek Trail.
