about the general area: This spot, the Southern Cascade Range, has so much outdoors exciting things. In the event that you don't mind getting soaked, you can always go whitewater paddling on Rogue River - North Fork, and a pleasant journey to Seven Lakes Basin is a wonderful
way to spend an afternoon. So many enjoyable things to do in the Southern Cascade Range, not sufficient time. Wickiup Meadow is a great spot to stretch your legs a bit, and if you came for an overnight stay Sevenmile Marsh Campground is a great spot to camp. This is no spot
for people who don’t like to have fun. The beauty of mother nature reveals herself at Cold Spring; why not camp at Hemlock Lake Campground since you're here at Cold Spring Trail. Penn Creek is a stream that you may bump into while here, and a visit to Christis Spring will fill your spirit with magnificent feelings. Long Creek flows through this region, and a visit to Crater Lake National Park is recommended.
