At Cold Spring Trail through the long summer days highs are in the 80's. Summer night lows fall down to the 30's. For the period of the winter highs are in the 30's while Cold Spring Trail night low temperatures during the winter are in the 10's.

It's a magnificent idea to pop by Line Creek, it's in the vicinity of Cold Spring Trail, and a delightful place for whitewater paddling is Grande Ronde River.
If you like the outdoors you'll like it here in the Blue Mountains. A tremendous spot to camp here at Cold Spring Trail is Trough Creek Campground. You'll truly wish for more hours in a day to enjoy all the fun stuff in the Blue Mountains. Lost Horse Meadow is a great location here at Cold Spring Trail, and close by Faulkner Gulch is a perfect place to go. Don't forget to take a glorious little visit to Skinner Creek, and a trip to Cold Spring Trail wouldn't be complete without taking a look at Farley Spring.
And that's not all you can do here at Cold Spring Trail. Camping at Deerhorn Campground is always a nice experience, and you can run the rapids of John Day River - North Fork.
